a day off!

i've finally decided to take a vacation day and not have to go to the doctor's office or the hospital for tests and whatnot. it's gonna be 70 and sunny tomorrow so i'm going to the ballpark! yes, a tiger's game in the afternoon. mmmmm...beer, hot dogs and nachos. the perfect recovery food! recovery for what? well, you didn't think i was gonna sit on my ass with a race looming ten days away, did you? i'm planning on doing stairs in the morning and then getting the (much needed) oil changed in my rex. and if i don't have too many beers at the ol' ballgame, i'm gonna do some riding too! but i think that's gonna be a stretch.

i can't frickin' wait to get my 29er! i reluctantly drove back up to fenton tonight to return the paragon. i can't wait to ride a 29er again. i just can't get over how much fun they are! i'm hoping soma's distributors are right and they do come in the first of may. there could be a possibility that i'd get it built up in time for addison. that would rock! i pretty much came up with a build list and i'm trying to keep it under $1500. not an easy job. i was going back and forth between the aluminum niner emd and the steel juice. i think the juice would be way cooler than the plain ol' aluminum frame...plus the emd costs more. okay, off to bed...now i can finally dream about my 29er....
