breakin' the law, breakin' the law

if old joe knew i did a heavy weight workout the day following a stair workout, i think he'd have a...well, we won't go there. the point is, i know better. it's just my legs were feeling pretty good tonight and i had a little bit of motivation. squats, deadlifts, leg curls, and calf raises for the lower body and some heavy bench presses and wide-grip upright rows for the shoulders. my whole body is sore! that's the way, ah-huh, ah-huh, i like it!

i called sbs to find out what the hold up was w/ the monocog 29er's. i guess they were unhappy w/ the headtube gussets of the first batch of frames so they're re-doing them and waiting for shipment. so now they're saying the second week of april. i've decided (once again) that i'm going with the ss. the least it'll do is make me a stronger rider especially on the hills, plus, i'll have fun doing it! so, i probably won't have it for another month at the earliest. boo-hoo.

the first week of spring is going to prove to be a cold one. temps in the 30s the whole week. i'm still hoping to get out one night this week for a post-work ride. easier said than done. a run sounds more realistic.

Not wise my friend, you should listen to the coach... off to do some stairs myself. Can hardly wait!
